Weekly Message from the Headteacher

Just a short message from me this week. Firstly, I want to say a big thank you to our families for helping to keep our school safe by adapting their behaviours around our building and also in their wider lives.

COVID-19 is part of our wider community, and it is likely that our families will be touched by it in the near future. Information about what to do during the holiday period if you suspect you may be infected, can be found on our website and through the NHS and Cumbrian Council sites.

Secondly, I would like to thank our wonderful children, who have made it a pleasure to be in school and who have shown resilience and adapted so smoothly to new ways of working.

Lastly, I would like to thank the wonderful staff team. Those working in the office, in classrooms, cooking and serving meals and keeping our building clean are all special people. They all ‘go the extra mile’ every single day and never more so than in the last few weeks. They really are an amazing group of people and I hope they enjoy some rest next week with their families and loved ones.

Have a lovely half term, stay safe
