Happy Friday everyone!
I hope you have enjoyed this past sunny week in Cumbria. I particularly like seeing the bluebells in bloom in my local area. Here is a picture of Fred amongst the blooms this week. I am embracing my daily walks and even finding new and forgotten paths to provide variety. I find these walks help me to balance my wellbeing as they provide exercise and time for mindfulness. I hope that you have all been finding time to prioritise wellbeing for your families this week. Please send us pictures from your daily walks as we love to keep up with how you are doing and to share the wonderful signs of nature around us.
Why not try this scavenger hunt to support mindfulness based on the five senses. Either on a walk in the garden or even in the house used all five of your senses sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch to go on a hunt. Can you find:
Something smooth
Something rough
Something that makes a noise
Something round
Something yellow
Something that came from a plant
Something that has a smell
Something long
Something manmade
Something soft
Something you can eat
Something red
Stay safe everyone and enjoy your daily walks,
Mrs Figes
