Weekly Message from the Headteacher

Happy Easter Everyone!

I have been feeling much better this week and the wonderful weather has been very welcome. Staff have been busy during this holiday period preparing for online schooling as we now start the Summer Term. Over the next few weeks, Key Stages One and Two will be in a period of review and revision. We are using this as an opportunity to see how much children remember from their learning in the previous two terms.

Summer Term will be an unusual one, we don’t know when we will re-open in the normal way but where we can try and provide opportunities to do Summer term activities from home, we will. For example, we will be looking to continue with Mental Health Week, VE day Celebrations, Sport’s Week and Multi-Cultural Week and I wonder if we can still do poetry recitals?

I hope you will continue to feel part of our school community over these weeks of social isolation and that we can soon be together again.

Stay safe everyone,

Mrs Figes
