CHICKEN POX - We have had a few more casualties to Chicken Pox this week in school so we have decided to leave this warning in place over the Half Term Holidays. Parents are reminded that following a diagnosis, children should be kept home until all vesicles have scabbed or crusted over – once this has happened as long as the children are well they can return to school as they are no longer contagious.

MUMPS & MEASLES - Recent news reports have highlighted increasing reports of measles and mumps in England. These are serious diseases which can be fatal. Most children will be protected from these through the MMR vaccine which is often given in the first year of a child's life.
If you think your child hasn't been vaccinated, contact your GP.
